We Don’t Just Get It. We Live it.

Happy Pride Month! It’s that time when many vendors advertise that they’ve worked with queer couples, or openly state they would be happy to do so. And whether or not you’ve had the joy to help a queer couple down the aisle yet, that’s always a welcome gesture.
As for wedding pros out their posting pics of their LBGTQIA+ couples? We love it when vendors of all kinds highlight queer joy & celebration. There are more of us visible on the screen than ever, but it’s still uncommon to see our authentic love in full view. Posts and reels of couples fully in the moment, awash with the love of their family and friends, are beautiful to see. WE are beautiful to see.
And when I say ‘we,’ I don’t just mean queer people in general, of which I—the writer—am one. I say ‘we’ because every member of our team past or present either claims at least one letter of the acronym or is a true accomplice to the cause: ride or die baes for the LGBTQIA’s.
We’ve navigated tricky family dynamics. We’ve forged new traditions. We’ve hidden before so we know how incredible the sun feels on our skin.
Our well for joy is deep because it was carved first with sorrow. We absolutely lose it when parents dance with their queer children; when chosen family walks brides and grooms down the aisle, or officiates; when the supportive aunt parties til’ the very end, long past the rest of the GROWN grown folks. We get it. Because we live it.
And we do everything we can to make your day perfectly YOU. We set the scene so that you can be fully present: no worries, no distractions . You deserve nothing less.
Stay tuned for a list of queer and solid accomplice vendor partners! And once again, Happy Pride!!
