Crisp, Classic Blue + White at the Market at Grelen with Heather

As a wedding planner, some days stand out not just for their beauty but for the undeniable joy they radiate—and this crisp, classic, preppy wedding at Grelen was one of those days. From the very beginning, our couple envisioned a celebration that was timeless, elegant, and full of personal charm, and it was an honor to help bring their dream to life.

We centered our design plan around a blue-and-white palette and incorporated it through every element of the wedding. The bridesmaids wore elegant gowns in a soft French blue, perfectly complementing the lush, textured floral arrangements of white roses, hydrangeas, and delicate greenery. Classic and fresh design!

Under the tent, we dressed tables in alternating blue and white linens with patterned chargers, custom napkins, and chinoiserie-inspired vases overflowing with blooms. Every detail reflected the couple’s love for classic, preppy design, with just the right touch of modern sophistication.

Though the forecast threatened to dampen spirits, nothing could stop this group from celebrating. The skies stayed overcast, and rain fell softly at times, but it only added to the intimacy and warmth of the day. Guests huddled under clear umbrellas for the outdoor ceremony, their laughter and love creating an atmosphere so joyful that no amount of weather could overshadow it. And let me tell you—there is something magical about a backdrop of misty hills at The Market at Grelen, with the soft light casting an ethereal glow over the vows.
